If the fridge has a water and ice feature, glance at the connections behind it for obvious drips, and make sure the supply line is not kinked. Keep the doors closed as much as possible so the cabinet holds its cold, and move perishables to a cooler if the temperature is rising. Do not chip at ice in the drain or pull off interior panels yourself, and do not drag a leaking unit across the floor to reach behind it. If the refrigerator trips a breaker or smells hot, switch it off and leave it for inspection.
