Terms of Service

These terms apply to the appliance-repair services provided by Riko Appliance Repair (18042551 Canada Inc. o/a Riko Appliance Repair). By booking a visit with us, you agree to the terms below.

The services we provide

We repair and maintain residential, electric appliances — refrigerators and freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and electric ovens, stoves and cooktops — and we install dishwashers. We do not service gas appliances, commercial or restaurant equipment, or sealed refrigeration systems, and dishwashers are the only appliance we install.

Diagnostic fee and pricing

Every visit begins with a flat $89 diagnostic. If you approve the repair, that diagnostic fee is waived and you pay only for the repair itself. We provide one clear, upfront price for the repair, which you approve before any work begins. Most repairs fall between $150 and $350 depending on the appliance and the parts required. Prices are estimates until the appliance is inspected and the fault is confirmed.

Promotional offers

Limited-time offers, including $40 OFF off any repair, are for new residential customers, cannot be combined with other discounts, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Please mention the offer when you book.

Workmanship warranty

We back the labour on every repair with our workmanship warranty: if something we repaired is not right, we will return and make it right. Parts may also carry a manufacturer's warranty. The warranty covers the specific repair we performed and does not cover new, unrelated faults or appliances we did not service.

Scheduling

We offer same-day and next-day appointments where scheduling allows. Appointment windows are estimates and can shift with earlier jobs, weather or travel; we will keep you informed if a window changes.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the approved repair. We will tell you which payment methods we accept when you book.

Limitation of liability

We carry insurance and take care in every home we work in. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the service you paid us for. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law in Ontario.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there.
