Electric Oven Has No Power or Display? Safe Checks
A completely dead electric oven can have a breaker, terminal, wiring, control or thermal-protection fault. Because ranges use high voltage, keep troubleshooting external and safe.

Electric Oven Has No Power or Display? Safe Checks
Check only external controls
Confirm control lock is off and inspect the household breaker according to panel instructions. After a recent outage, check whether the clock requires setting. Do not pull out a range, open panels or test high-voltage terminals yourself.
A dead display has several causes
Supply connections, thermal protection, wiring, the user interface and main control can each interrupt operation. Tell the technician whether the cooktop, light or any indicator still works.
Leave it off after a repeat trip
Book diagnosis if power is present elsewhere but the oven stays dead, flickers or trips the breaker. Note any pop, odour or outage before the failure.

Electric Oven Has No Power or Display? Safe Checks — quick answers
Can the cooktop work while the oven display is dead?
Yes. Some supply and control faults affect only part of a range, so the working cooktop does not rule out an oven fault.
Should I reset the breaker more than once?
No. If it trips again, keep the appliance off and arrange professional diagnosis.
Do you repair gas ovens?
No. Riko services residential electric ovens only.
