Dishwasher Cycle Stuck or Showing an Error Code?
Preserve the useful evidence
Photograph the code and note whether the machine stopped during fill, wash, heat or drain. Listen for a pump, hum or repeated click without opening panels. Avoid cancelling the cycle repeatedly.
A stalled cycle has several causes
Door latches, pumps, valves, heaters, sensors and controls each confirm conditions before the next stage. The code guides testing but does not always name the failed part by itself.
Book when one reset does not help
Follow only the manual’s reset instructions. If the code returns, water remains or the breaker trips, leave the dishwasher off and arrange diagnosis.

Dishwasher Cycle Stuck or Showing an Error Code? — quick answers
Should I clear the error code before service?
Photograph it first. A single manual-approved reset is reasonable, but repeated resets can hide a recurring fault.
Why is the dishwasher stuck on drain?
It may be responding to detected water, a drain problem or a sensor and control condition.
Can a door latch stop the cycle halfway?
Yes. An intermittent latch signal can interrupt operation even if the door appears closed.
